Athena Browser Integration Extension
The Athena Browser Integration Extension is a Chrome host extension designed for the USB headsets of JPL Telecom Inc. This extension works in conjunction with the iPECS One softphone UC client developed by Ericsson LG. The iPECS One softphone UC client is widely used around the world and is based on the Web RTC platform. While the client can be used with internal PC speakers and microphones, many users prefer to use USB interface headsets for better audio quality and telephony capabilities.
The Athena Browser Integration Extension acts as a bridge between the iPECS One client and JPL Telecom's USB headsets. It enables various call control functions, such as incoming call ring alerts, off-hook and on-hook actions, mute/unmute controls, and call active and call end actions. With this extension, users can seamlessly integrate their USB headsets with the iPECS One softphone UC client, enhancing their communication experience.
